Execute Without Drama from Gazelles
Ratchet up efficiency and reduce uncertainty - by harnessing the power of metrics. Award-winning entrepreneur and coach, Patrick Thean, shares specific ways to leverage measurement "dashboards" at your organization for pitch-perfect execution without wasted time or effort. Make better decisions, and make them faster by: tracking the metrics that matter (not every number counts), aligning your people around critical performance goals, and infusing your culture with a performance-boosting, metrics-focused language.
The power of metrics is astounding! Actually, it’s the RIGHT metrics that carry all the power. What can you measure NOW that will give you insight into the FUTURE of your business? Measuring the right things right now can help you to predict outcomes. Predicting outcomes allows you to solve problems today instead of being blindsided by them tomorrow. Author Patrick Thean was running an Inc. 500 company. Growing in excess of 100% a year, with his "hair on fire," he measured various metrics including the usual financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). But wait! These KPIs are about past and current performance. They allow you to celebrate with ice cream parties, but do not provide insight regarding future problems and outcomes. It wasn't until he discovered the RIGHT THINGS to measure that the company began sharing bonuses along with the ice cream. This is Thean’s story on DVD, and journey of discovering the right things to measure and the dashboards that changed his future.
